Beautiful, deciduous vine, that  vigorously grows to 30′ or more unchecked.  Long dangling racemes of blue-violet flowers in Spring. Flowers dangle in grape-like clusters and bloom almost simultaneously producing a dramatic display in the garden. Best grown with support. Can be aggressive. Drought tolerant once established.
