Shade-loving native sedge from Eastern North America. Grows with a creeping habit and is often found in areas with oak trees, hence the additional common name of oak sedge. This is a low sedge with semi-evergreen leaves. It typically grows narrow, grass-like, medium green leaves. Great addition to border edges or shady gardens. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant.
